From the President...

Dear Harvard Alum,

Happy Holidays from the Harvard Club of the West Coast of Florida!

I'm honored to introduce myself as the new President of the Harvard Club of the West Coast of Florida.  I grew up in Springfield, Ohio, the youngest of seven kids.  I graduated from Harvard College in 1996 with a degree in Economics.  I've been in Tampa for 11 years and work with AVI-SPL as the Senior Vice-President of Global Procurement.  I live in Lutz with my wife Roshni, my daughter Raina, and my son Jaxon.

I'm also excited to introduce our new Vice President of the Club, Wesley Co.  Wes graduated from Harvard Business School's General Management Program in 2010 and brings a great energy to the team.  He has been in Tampa for a couple of years and works with Masonite International as the Vice President & Business Leader of North American Retail.  I look forward to working with him and our board members to continue the tradition of strong leadership.

As president of our club, I'm committed to bringing alumni together to support our wonderful institution, to experience culture, to gain knowledge, to do some networking, and most importantly to have a great time together.   We will begin 2018 with our best event, the Holiday party in January.  This event is one of the best-attended events of the year and I think our party on January 5TH 2018 is going to be the best one yet.  Please sign up through our website and I look forward to seeing you there.  We look forward to adding to our great team next year so please spread the word and keep up to date on all our events.

We have some exciting plans for our events in 2018 so please check our website regularly for updates.  We welcome your suggestions for speakers or for social or performance events so please reach out to us if you have something in mind.

I'm excited to see you all at our annual holiday party on Friday January 5TH, 2018!

Sincerely,

Patrick G. Hannon, '96
